Remote production in action

This was a first for France. Between our At Home Production control room in Studios 107 (Plaine Saint Denis) and the AccorHotels Arena (12th arrondissement in Paris), we remotely produced a basketball match live between the Paris Basketball and Aix Maurienne Savoie Basket clubs. This was done with a small team in the field sending signals over fibre internet (SRT IP transmission) and a 4G network to our Media Center. Guillaume Allais is the director of Letsee, the digital department of AMP Visual TV. During these unprecedented times and the lockdown, his teams have remained on deck to help with the programmes we provide our customers, and rightly so. More so now than ever, we need to take advantage of our remote broadcasting and production expertise. We have more than 15 years’ worth of research and development and have accumulated experience over the years.

We offer a facility that’s easy to use and customise: a TV set with modular décor, 6 cameras and an HD control unit. This facility can be found in Paris’s 15th arrondissement and can be used to produce all sorts of programmes !

The Smart Studio is part of LETSEE’s digital repertoire and is permanently based at Studios Rive Gauche where it’s used as a tool for digital events.

Letsee has been chosen by "France Télévision" to encode major sporting events for the next four years

Services have been provided for the Tour de France, the French Open, the 2021 Olympic Games in Japan and the forthcoming 2024 Games in France.
